As a follow-up to Retail Summit we presented the Virtual Promoter also at a specialized conference Retail in Detail/Effective Innovations (March 28, 2017), that focused in detail on current trends in innovations in retail. Our VP exposition was a part of the event full of technological novelties and smart ideas. All the visitors appreciated the Virtual Promoter not only for the interesting technology and unique applications, but mainly for its interactive and entertaining solution that brings positive emotions and extraordinary experience to the customers directly at the point of sale.
ppm factum took part at the Retail Summit Conference held in Prague on 30.1. - 1.2. 2017. This year we presented a new type of the Virtual Promoter – a self-standing flatscreen solution that combines advantages of both LCD screen and an interactive virtual promoter. We showed a lot of new applications including one for the Crestyl company that was made in ppm production. Our exposition was enjoyed greatly by all conference visitors that appreciated both solutions – a flat screen as well as a standard type of the VP designed for shop windows.
POPAI Central Europe Association held on November 24th 2016 another year of international event named „POPAI DAY“ which also included competition POPAI AWARDS for best communication and advertising tools at a point of sale.
We registered GIMMO Virtual Promoter and are happy to announce that GIMMO won the award in a cathegory of Digital Communication! Among many other exhibits it appealed both to the expert jury as well as to the visitors – clients from top and middle management, retailers and POP producers.
The visitors could explore the appliction LEGO Ninjago, play the game and get to know in detail how GIMMO works, what the main functions are and what benefits it can have for their business.
The pilot project GIMMO Virtual Promoter was implemented in the toy store POMPO in the Metropole Zličín shopping mall between May 24 and June 27. The customers had the first and unique opportunity to see the LEGO Ninjago Application and play an entertaining interactive game. During that period that also included the Kids´ Day on June 1st GIMMO attracted more than 20.000 passers-by, i.e. it stopped 14 % of all persons that walked by. Full 25 % of those who stopped joined the LEGO Ninjago Application actively.
The active users spent at GIMMO Virtual Promoter 81 sec on average, which is significantly much longer time of influencing a potential customer compared to other media.
GIMMO Virtual Promoter proved to be a very interesting advertising device and a source of information; a device that can attract customers´s attention for a very long time in comparison with other digital signage media.
The project was also supported by a promotion to purchase LEGO products with 10% discount in the Pompo store for those who obtain a discount voucher while playing the Application. No less than 4 % of those who communicated with GIMMO Virtual Promoter actively, joined the promotion activity that was part of the LEGO Application communication.
It has been a tradition that we are a key partner in the largest meeting of FMCG managers taking place in Občanská plovárna.
This year we engaged visitors to take part in space activities. Guests played a Space Ping-pong, learned with the help of our hostesses how to take a space ride in a special Sphero ball and they also could take home a picture from their conquering the moon.
As the key part of the programe and the biggest attraction we presented an interactive GIMMO Virtual Promoter with a new ppm factum application introducing our services for the visitors to try to control the Promoter by means of gestures.
For participation in the activities, players gained points and at the end of the day ppm turned the points into real money for a good cause.
Thanks to our playful visitors we could support the Debra Foundation with a total of CZK 18.600.
We believe that the visitors had fun and we promise that we will prepare an appealing ppm factum zone again next year.
The company ppm factum as a special ceremony partner took part at the award ceremony for the winners of marketing programe The Customers´ Choice 2016 that was held on May 15th 2016 in the Lucerna Palace, Prague. On this occasion ppm factum introduced a GIMMO Virtual Promoter with LEGO Ninjago Application on which the visitors could play an entertaining interactive game and compete for attractive prizes.
GIMMO Virtual Promoter met with great success and was evaluated very positively by all the guests as an advertising device and as a useful source of information.

Presentation of Virtual Promoter GIMMO took place in the Clarion Congress Hotel on the occasion of Retail Summit 2016 on Feb 1st – 3rd. The show attracted a lot of attention, more than 600 visitors came to see the interactive novelty. The guests mainly appreciated the interactive way of communication and a unique and modern character of the device.
In the Czech Republic the device was introduced to the public on February 1st 2016 but the German manufacturer of the “Virtual Promoter” had already implemented it in numerous other successful campaigns. Examples of Douglas (perfumery), Lego and Muller (drug store) projects are presented below.
